I've been having a lot of positive feed back on my small flower watercolors.  Thanks so much to everyone who's been telling me how they love them!  The most recent ones that I sold just made it safely to Texas last week :)

They're such a delicate flower, I think I may need to buy a small watercolor brush for the stems.

Wheat Field Oil Painting

This is a quicker oil study that I painted of the fall wheat down the road from me.  I'm really happy with how the sky turned out.  It's on a one inch deep wood cradled panel.  I wish I had time to try a little study like this every day!  Click on the picture to view it in my etsy shop.

These are so bright and summery.  I want to get some framed for the kid's rooms.  In the mean time I bought some beautiful stock photography and figured out how to insert my watercolors into a frame digitally.

Summer

In the mood to paint some summer style watercolors!  Playing around with popsicle paintings in watercolor.

I've been having fun with some small watercolors.  It's a nice change of pace to mix in with oil painting.  Something that I can work on much more easily during nap time, since they dry so fast.  And clean-up is about 100x easier!  So many things are growing in my garden right now that I started painting them.  Like these radishes,

Then I tried a few with writing...little inspirational watercolors.

It's lots of fun so I put some up on ArtFire.com under the shop name FourGreenAcres.  It's nice to have another venue besides Etsy, and for now I think I'll keep oils on etsy and watercolors on ArtFire.  Even have a few sales there already!  I'm interested in any opinions of the different online art selling venues.
